A decadent and nostalgic pie featuring a silky chocolate filling on a crunchy Oreo crust, topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Oreo cookies (230 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces bittersweet baking chocolate (melted)
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/3 cups heavy cream (cold)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven and Prepare Oreos: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and crush your Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until the crumbs are well coated.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture into a 9-inch pie dish firmly, making sure it’s even. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then let the crust cool completely.
  4. Melt the bittersweet chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring it gently until smooth.
  5. Combine granulated sugar and room temperature butter in a large bowl. Beat them together until fluffy and creamy.
  6. Add eggs one at a time to the sugar-butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Stir in the melted chocolate along with the vanilla extract until the mixture is homogenous.
  8. Pour the luscious filling into your cooled Oreo crust, spreading it gently with a spatula.
  9. Chill the pie for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  10. Beat the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  11. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the chilled chocolate filling.

Notes

For easier slicing, dip your knife in hot water before cutting each piece of pie.
