  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  7. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with maple syrup on top.
