A comforting and flavorful meatloaf made with ground beef and stuffing mix, topped with a delightful ketchup glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while you gather your ingredients.
  2. Combine ground beef, stuffing mix, water, 1/4 cup ketchup, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Mix everything until just combined to avoid a dense meatloaf.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.
