Delicate and versatile French crepes that can be filled with sweet or savory ingredients for a delightful treat.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Butter for cooking
  • Sugar, jam, or Nutella for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter.
  3. Pour a ladle of batter into the skillet, tilting to spread it evenly.
  4. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until lightly golden, then flip and cook the other side for another 1 minute.
  5. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  6. Serve warm with sugar, jam, or Nutella.

Notes

Crepes are best enjoyed fresh. To store leftovers, place parchment paper between them and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
