Juicy and tender meatballs with smoky barbecue sauce and a kick of sriracha, perfect for family gatherings or movie nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Prepare the sauce by heating barbecue sauce and sriracha in a saucepan.
  6. Coat the baked meatballs in the sauce until fully covered.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

Meatballs freeze well for up to 2 months. Avoid over-mixing to keep them tender.
