A simple and flavorful cranberry sauce that captures the essence of fresh cranberries with just a few wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add cranberries, orange juice, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Use fresh cranberries for the best flavor. You can adjust the sugar to taste and substitute lemon juice for orange juice if desired.
