Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Create the Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; gently fold in the blueberries.
  4. Preheat Your Skillet: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Cook the Pancakes: Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!: Serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.

Notes

For the fluffiest pancakes, don’t overmix the batter; a few lumps are fine.
