A delightful dessert with a light and airy texture, perfect for Easter celebrations and topped with vibrant seasonal fruits.

Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Assorted seasonal fruits (e.g., berries, kiwi, passion fruit) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until stiff peaks form, then gradually add the sugar until glossy.
  3. Fold in the vinegar and cornstarch gently.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet in the shape of nests.
  5. Bake for 1.5 hours; let them cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar.
  6. Whip the heavy cream with vanilla until soft peaks form.
  7. Spoon the cream into meringue nests and top with seasonal fruits.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Store meringue and cream separately for freshness. Assemble just before serving.
