An elegant meringue-based dessert filled with whipped cream and fresh seasonal fruits, perfect for Easter celebrations.

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Fresh seasonal fruits (e.g., berries, kiwi, passionfruit) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites in a clean mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat until stiff and glossy peaks form.
  4. Fold in the vanilla, vinegar, and cornstarch carefully.
  5. Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into nests.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour or until the edges are crisp and the centers are soft.
  7. Turn off the oven and allow the meringues to cool completely inside.
  8. Once cooled, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks and spoon it into the meringue nests.
  9. Finally, adorn with assorted fresh fruits.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture. Meringues can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
