A flavorful twist on a classic comfort food featuring crispy chicken topped with tangy dill pickles and a cheesy coating.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in a bowl.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Prepare for coating by dipping each chicken breast into the egg.
  5. Coat the chicken breasts with the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Create a pickle blanket by placing dill pickle slices on top of the chicken.
  7. Add richness by drizzling with olive oil or spraying with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
