A comforting dish featuring chicken breasts with a crispy, golden Parmesan crust, perfect for family dinners or impressing guests.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Coat each piece with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, lemon juice, and Italian herbs for about an hour before coating.
