Deliciously fudgy brownies swirled with creamy cream cheese for a rich and decadent dessert.

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and cocoa powder until well mixed.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring gently until just incorporated.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar in a separate bowl until smooth.
  6. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  8. Dollop the remaining brownie batter on top.
  9. Swirl the cream cheese and brownie layers together with a knife.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  11. Cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an elevated dessert experience. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
