Deliciously crispy and juicy chicken tenders coated with a flavorful blend of spices, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 units Eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Start by cutting your chicken breasts into strips. Keep them uniform to ensure even cooking. Rinse and pat them dry, making sure they are ready to absorb all that flavor!
  2. Whisk the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat the Eggs: In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until well blended. This will act as the magical glue that helps the coating stick to the chicken.
  4. Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken strip first in the egg mixture, then coat it generously in the seasoned flour mixture.
  5. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat about half an inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the Chicken Tenders: Carefully add the coated chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Drain and Serve: Transfer the chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Notes

Serve with ranch dip, coleslaw, or French fries. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
