A delightful fusion of chocolate cake and crushed Oreo cookies, topped with whipped cream for a nostalgic treat.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for frosting)
  • Extra crushed Oreo cookies (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the crushed Oreo cookies, stirring gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Frost with whipped cream and sprinkle with extra crushed Oreo cookies.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze slices wrapped in plastic wrap and foil for up to 2 months.
