Delightful cookies inspired by Cookie Monster, bursting with Oreos, chocolate chips, and a playful blue hue.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreos and chocolate chips.
  6. Add drops of blue food coloring until desired shade is reached.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
