  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the sliced apples with 1/4 cup of brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Combine the oats, remaining brown sugar, melted butter, and salt in another bowl until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture generously over the apples.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
