  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into thin rounds, aiming for uniform thickness.
  3. Mix the heavy cream, cinnamon, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Layer the sweet potato slices in a greased baking dish, pouring cream mixture over each layer.
  5. Add small pats of butter on top to melt and enhance the flavor.
  6. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes.
  7. Finish baking uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
