A delightful treat combining the flavors of cinnamon rolls with the convenience of a cake. Perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the batter.
  6. Use a knife to swirl the mixture into the batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for icing, then drizzle over the cake.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with coffee or tea. Optional: Add whipped cream or ice cream on top.
