Deliciously easy cinnamon roll bliss bars topped with a sweet glaze, perfect for dessert or a snack.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs and sour cream until well combined, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Mix 1 tablespoon of cinnamon with a sprinkle of sugar and swirl it over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top and create a swirl with a knife.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth while the bars are baking.
  10. Drizzle the glaze on top after the bars cool and cut them into squares.

Notes

Best served warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container for up to three days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
