Churro Toffee is a delightful dessert combining the flavors of churros and toffee, perfect for sweet snack lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until just mixed. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Allow it to sit for a few minutes until the chocolate is soft, then spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and let cool completely before cutting into pieces.
