  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream and melted chocolate until everything is well combined.
  6. Fold in sliced strawberries gently.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Let it cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  10. Serve with whipped cream and fresh strawberries on top.
