Deliciously rich brownies swirled with creamy peanut butter for a decadent treat.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Mix in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan evenly.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of creamy peanut butter over the brownie batter and swirl it through with a knife.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top and swirl again if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter is melted but not bubbling and allow brownies to cool completely before cutting.
