  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and flour four ramekins.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thick.
  4. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Fold in the flour until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter among the prepared ramekins, filling each about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for about 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center remains soft.
  8. Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
