Delightful chocolate crinkle cookies with a soft, gooey center and a snowy powdered sugar coating.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the granulated sugar and vegetable oil.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Roll spoonfuls of dough into balls, then roll each ball in powdered sugar.
  8. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Cool before serving.
