A warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie baked in a skillet, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Remove the skillet from the heat and mix in brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the egg, stirring until fully incorporated.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Spread the cookie dough evenly in the skillet.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  10. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Best served warm with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
