Delightful chocolate chip cookies that are perfectly chewy and crunchy with pockets of melted chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Mix the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until well distributed.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
