A delicious and healthy chocolate dessert that is vegan and gluten-free, perfect for breakfast or as a treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chia seeds, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Whisk well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight.
  5. Once the pudding has thickened, stir well and serve in small jars or bowls.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Adjust sweetness as desired.
