A quick and savory one-pan meal featuring tender beef and vibrant broccoli in a luscious sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk the sauce together by combining the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, stir-frying for an additional 1 minute.
  4. Add the broccoli and a splash of water, cooking until the broccoli is tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked rice and enjoy!

Notes

For extra tenderness, marinate the beef in soy sauce and cornstarch for 30 minutes before slicing. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
