A comforting and easy-to-make Chicken Parmesan Casserole, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pasta (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Layer half of the chicken mixture, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining chicken mixture and cheeses.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve over cooked pasta or enjoy on its own.

Notes

Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save time. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
