A comforting stir-fry of tender chicken, chewy lo mein noodles, and colorful vegetables, tossed in savory sauces.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions; once done, drain and set them aside.
  2. Heat the sesame oil over medium heat in a large pan.
  3. Add minced garlic followed by the sliced chicken strips, and cook until the chicken is no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets, bell peppers, and julienned carrots. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vibrant and just tender.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing everything together thoroughly.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the pan and toss everything until heated through and well-coated with the sauce.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of chopped green onions on top and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to substitute vegetables based on your preference. For added heat, include chili sauce or red pepper flakes.
