A simple and comforting dessert that combines cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple topped with a buttery layer of cake mix.

  • 1 box yellow cake mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the cherry pie filling evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the crushed pineapple over the cherry filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple and cherry layers.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix layer.
  6. Add chopped nuts on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
