A comforting dish that combines perfectly cooked shrimp with tender pasta in a creamy, cheesy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain it.
  3. Sauté the garlic in melted butter over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Cook the shrimp in the skillet until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Create the creamy sauce by stirring in the heavy cream or milk and simmering for a few minutes.
  6. Mix in the cooked pasta and half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses until combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap heavy cream with low-fat milk or a dairy-free alternative. Feel free to add sun-dried tomatoes or spinach for extra flavor.
