A delightful and comforting casserole featuring creamy chicken, vibrant broccoli, and rich cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (300g) cooked chicken, cubed
  • 2 cups (250g) broccoli florets, lightly steamed
  • 2 cups (360g) cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 298g) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
  • 1 1/2 cups (170g) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup (60g) crushed butter crackers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the condensed cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in the cooked chicken, cooked white rice, and lightly steamed broccoli florets.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and pour the mixture into it.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top and add crushed butter cracker crumbs if desired.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

For best texture, ensure broccoli is not overcooked and consider using different cheeses for varied flavors.
