Delightful cookies combining the creamy flavor of cheesecake with a caramel drizzle.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
  5. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth for the frosting.
  8. Top cooled cookies with cheesecake frosting and drizzle with caramel sauce.
