  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whip the mixture on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Continue whipping until stiff peaks form, being careful not to overwhip.
  4. Use immediately as frosting, filling, or icing, or store in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

For best results, chill the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping. Do not overwhip the cream to prevent it from turning into butter.
