Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 servings of ravioli (cheese or spinach)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 strips of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions; once they are al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the chopped bacon, cooking until crispy.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half and half instead of heavy cream. Feel free to substitute bacon with sautéed mushrooms for a vegetarian option.
