A delightful twist on the traditional Italian cannoli, this dip is creamy and sweet, perfect for parties and gatherings.

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Pistachios (optional for garnish)
  • Cinnamon sugar (for serving)
  • Cannoli shells or dippers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  2. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the ricotta mixture until well combined.
  4. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with crushed pistachios if desired.
  6. Serve with cannoli shells or your choice of dippers. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use whole milk ricotta cheese. Make sure to whip the cream until stiff peaks form for a light and fluffy dip.
