A delightful twist on classic pizza, this easy-to-make casserole combines fluffy biscuit pieces with savory meat, rich pizza sauce, and melted cheese.

  • 2 cans Biscuit dough (preferably Halal-certified)
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef or turkey, Halal-certified)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup assorted pizza toppings (such as bell peppers, onions, olives, or halved cherry tomatoes)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the biscuit dough by cutting each piece into quarters.
  4. Mix the browned meat, pizza sauce, biscuit pieces, and toppings in a large bowl.
  5. Layer the mixture in a sprayed 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and biscuits are cooked.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
