Deliciously roasted Brussels sprouts coated in a sticky, sweet, and tangy maple-mustard glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds (680g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  5. Toss the roasted Brussels sprouts with the maple-mustard glaze until coated.
  6. Serve the glazed Brussels sprouts immediately.

Notes

Pairs well with roasted chicken or pork, and can be enhanced with toasted nuts or seeds.
