Burrata Bruschetta Toasts

A delightful appetizer featuring creamy burrata cheese and fresh tomatoes on crispy toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette or Italian bread
  • 8 oz Burrata cheese
  • 2 cups Fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette or Italian bread into 1/2 inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the bread slices and bake for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Chop the fresh tomatoes and mix them with chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  6. Top each toast with a slice of burrata cheese and spoon the tomato mixture over the top.
  7. Drizzle with more olive oil and balsamic vinegar if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh, ripe tomatoes. Feel free to experiment with toppings!
