  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk in another bowl.
  4. Merge the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Fill the muffin cups with batter, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Enjoy your muffins warm or at room temperature!
