A delightful homemade blueberry pie with a flaky crust and a sweet-tart filling that’s perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the fresh blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture into the prepared pie crust and dot with butter.
  4. Cover the pie with a top crust, sealing the edges, and cut slits on top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  6. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
