Delicious blueberry muffins, perfect for breakfast or as a snack, bursting with fresh blueberries and buttery goodness.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk the melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and milk in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the fresh blueberries until evenly mixed in the batter.
  6. Fill the muffin tin cups about two-thirds full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes and check doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin.
