Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners to ensure your muffins come out easily.
  2. Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  7. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Don’t skip the lining of muffin tin and measure flour accurately to avoid dense muffins.
