A delightful breakfast casserole combining buttery croissants, creamy cheese, and fresh blueberries, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 large buttery croissants, torn into pieces
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter for greasing the dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Layer the torn croissants in the greased baking dish.
  4. Add spoonfuls of softened cream cheese and sprinkle fresh blueberries over the croissant layers.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the croissants evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until golden brown and set.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving, optionally with blueberry sauce.

Notes
