Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it’s nice and even.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares— about 3-4 inches each.
  4. Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Place a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket or triangle.
  7. Prepare the egg wash by beating the egg with the milk.
  8. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the pastries.
  9. Bake them in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until they’re puffed up and golden brown.
  10. Let the pastries cool slightly before serving.
