A luscious frosting made with fresh blueberries and cream cheese, perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp heavy cream (optional for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Puree the fresh blueberries in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Cream the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Incorporate the blueberry puree and mix until beautifully combined.
  5. Adjust the consistency by adding heavy cream if needed.
  6. Frost onto cooled cakes, cupcakes, or desserts using a spatula or piping bag.

Notes

Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Stir before use.
