A delicious and fruity frosting that elevates your baked goods with the flavor of fresh blueberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk (if needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Puree the fresh blueberries in a blender or food processor until smooth. If you prefer smoother frosting, strain the puree to remove pulp.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the blueberry puree, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach desired consistency.
  5. Use the frosting immediately or store in the refrigerator until needed. It can be piped onto cakes or cupcakes.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh blueberries. Adjust sweetness by varying powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
