A delicious pasta dish featuring perfectly cooked shrimp coated in blackened seasoning, combined with a creamy sauce and fresh cherry tomatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp blackened seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the skillet by adding olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the shrimp with blackened seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Cook the shrimp in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  5. Sauté the garlic and cherry tomatoes in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Create the creamy base by lowering the heat and stirring in the heavy cream.
  7. Toss the cooked shrimp back into the skillet with the creamy mixture.
  8. Mix the drained pasta with the shrimp and creamy sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the shrimp seasoning. Ensure shrimp is not overcooked to avoid rubbery texture.
