A comforting and easy-to-make coffee cake that brings warmth and nostalgia to your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Combine the Bisquick mix, granulated sugar, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Create the cinnamon-sugar mix by mixing brown sugar and ground cinnamon, and sprinkle half over the batter.
  5. Layer the remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar layer and sprinkle the rest on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or fresh fruit. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
